your technical tips,

Susan, I gotta tell ya...I read your newsletter today with great interest....not
because of any computer news, but because of your talk about snow! I know it
sounds crazy, but I've lived in Las Vegas, NV for 22 years, and just loved your
talk about snow...the way it sounded as it scooted off the roof, the dogs romping
in it. I reveled in the sights and sounds!
- Shirley, Las Vegas
Keep the newsletter coming. I have learned much from reading it.
- Ken
I needed to print a folder of 5000+ graphic file names. Quick Google search
and I ended up on your explanation of how to do this. You saved me a lot of
time & trouble and I wanted to say thanks.
- Wanda, Albany, NY
I love your articles..thanks so much for publishing them!
- Sandy
I live in Seattle and used to have a friend in Spokane pick up your magazine
from a grocery store there. Then I would get it the next time I went to Spokane.
It was a great magazine!! and I now enjoy your tips.

Had to write to thank you for your solution that also has been driving me MAD!!
(http://www.computorcompanion.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=162)I tried everything to
remember my saved views, but nope, every time I re-opened explorer, it never
remembered my view. I held my "ctrl" key down and shut the window,
and BAM, it worked like a charm. Thank you for taking the time to write this
fix. People like me really do appreciate it!
- Paul
Thanks for your time and information, I appreciate it. Keep up the good work

Thanks for figuring out the cheat-around hint for that Word 2000 Number of
pages glitch. This has been driving me crazy-and this was something I could
do at 7 am, where I can't download the 26mb service pack right now! Thanks again-worked
great.
- Melanie
Windows was turning me crazy in a new way... till I found your article.
- Cesar, Spain
I want you to know that I really look forward to your column. The last one
about using F8 is very helpful and you explained it in plain language. Even
I could understand the directions. I have used it a lot already this week.
- Betty, Coeur d'Alene
Just wanted to write and thank you for your article called "Windows Explorer
Weirdness" ( http://www.cc-tips.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=37 ). A coworker

What a relief that someone had the answer to how to rearrange and restore the
file order in File Open, Save, and Save As dialog boxes! I too struggled with
that one. Thank you.

Thanks for the tip on file order in open dialogs. It was exactly what I needed.
I am a computer nerd, and this was driving me nuts for a while. I decided to
finally fix it this morning. Then I tried for a while. Then started googling
for the info.... I couldn't figure this out until I came across your article.
Thanks,
- Mark
